What a month it’s been! I moved my pet health education and news blog (http://4usuccessprograms.blogspot.com/) from Google’s free Blogger hosting and software to my own hosting service using WordPress blogging software. I also registered a new, more meaningful, domain name to access the blog (http://www.wholesomepetsupplynews.com/ ).

The reasons for the move were (1) I wanted full control over my blog as it is a source of income for me, (2) I’ve heard of Google shutting down blogs for unknown reasons and I didn’t want to take a chance on this happening, and (3) WordPress is suppose to be a more commercially friendly blogging software (and it’s free).

Installing WordPress was a breeze (well, compared to what followed), but getting the templates setup the way I wanted was a nightmare. It’s still not 100%, but at least it’s up and running. I purchased the template and it had bugs. I switched to another template and it took me over a week to learn how to configure it and get all the plugins updated. I still want the original template and am working with the provider to get it fixed.

Last Sunday I wrote a post where I confessed to my lack of focus in trying to start a new Internet Marketing business. I’ve spent a fair amount of money on various training programs without a lot of success. There is so much to learn.

However, when an ad from Mike Antoni landed in my Inbox, it really “spoke to me.” The advertising copy said exactly what I’d been feeling and experiencing. Mike seemed like a person who really has been through this himself, not just saying it to sell product. So, I decided to spent some (more) money and bought his course.

If you’ve been following this blog for a while, you probably figured out that I have been having trouble maintaining my focus on building my Internet Marketing business. While it’s true that I have Attention Deficit Disorder and tend to bounce around a lot, I have overcome this whenever I’ve had the proper motivation. For example, I do have an online natural pet food business, a personal stock trading business and am a retired Information Technology consultant, all three of which require focus.

The instructions are very thorough and the author has a very positive attitude. He emphasizes that only 4% of us succeed and the reason is us. We don’t take action! Sound familiar? He promised to help me set up a profitable Internet business if I promised to work hard EVERY DAY to implement his blue print. If I fail, it is because I didn’t take action!
